AI for Everyone —
Adventures for Every Generation

Artificial intelligence does not have to be intimidating. Here, we learn by talking, playing, imagining, and occasionally saying, "Gotcha!"

Whether you are 8 or 80, a beginner or a builder, a grandparent or a grandchild — there is a place for you here.

New here? Not sure where to start? We made three easy steps just for you.

A note from John

Your experienced neighbor, not your professor.

I am a retired programmer living in Nocatee, Florida. I have worked with computers since the earliest days of personal computing — long before most people had heard the word "internet."

I built this site because I kept hearing the same thing from people of all ages: "I feel like AI was made for someone else." It was not. And this page is proof.

Bring your grandchildren. Bring your questions. Bring your skepticism. Everything here is designed to feel like a conversation, not a test.

What exactly is AI?

Three plain-language answers — no jargon required.

The short answer

AI is a computer program that has learned to recognize patterns — in words, pictures, sounds, and numbers — and uses those patterns to answer questions or solve problems.

The neighbor answer

Imagine a very well-read neighbor who has read millions of books and can answer almost any question you ask. They are not always right, but they are always willing to try.

The honest answer

AI does not think the way you do. It does not have feelings or opinions. It finds patterns and predicts what comes next. Understanding that makes it much less mysterious.
